Century Communities, Inc., (NYSE:CCS) today announced that its Jimmy
Jacobs Homes subsidiary purchased 527 premier home sites in two leading
communities in Austin, Texas. Century Communities has positioned itself
as one of the top builders in Austin.
The Jimmy Jacobs Homes subsidiary acquired 423 home sites in the Pearson
Place at Avery Ranch community. The community is a continuation of the
very successful Avery Ranch master-planned community, which is located
in one of Austin’s most sought after areas. The Avery Ranch community
boasts premier amenities including five community centers, an outdoor
amphitheater and direct access to hiking and biking trails, as well as
unparalleled access to top-rated schools. The home sites will offer a
diverse range of new home product in a highly desirable location.
The Jimmy Jacobs Homes subsidiary also acquired 104 wooded, acre home
sites in the newly developed Reagan’s Overlook community, located just
30 miles northwest of Austin in Leander, Texas. The Reagan’s Overlook
community is comprised of approximately 250 acres overlooking the San
Gabriel River valley. The community’s home site features include
cul-de-sac locations, mature oak trees and stunning views of the Texas
hill country. The Reagan’s Overlook development is divided into three 3
phases totaling 190 home sites and the Company has contracted to
purchase the additional phases of the community as well.
